It was October 1984 and we'd come to visit my aunt for her birthday in the grand city of New Orleans. I was 6. I remember sitting there, feeling rather cosmopolitan while snacking on Beignets and sipping hot chocolate, with my mother and aunt discussing life, love and politics while I watched the people walk by. That feels like forever ago! (And it might as well have been. What is 25 years between lives?) Thanks for the memories, Pinch I remember the first time I was at Cafe Du Monde. I did have a muffaletta at The Napoleon House but I didn't make it to Preservation Hall like I had hoped. Next time!
